Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum
This museum once in a derelict condition underwent a comprehensive restoration and reopened in 2008.
It showcases the city's cultural heritage and history through a rare collection of miniature clay models, maps, photographs and rare books that document the life of the people of Mumbai and the history of the city.
Once inside, you are transformed into a different world and personally I spent more than half a day, carried away by all that was there.
